Animals As Intermediaries (AAI) brings animal and nature programs to people
with limited access to the natural world. Founded over 25 years ago, we
connect individuals with nature’s capacity to heal and to teach.
The mission of Animals As Intermediaries, Inc. (AAI)® is to support the human
spirit by offering and building connections between people and the natural
world.
AAI will soon be known as The Nature Connection. While we look forward to our new name, we continue to embrace the words of founder Sarah Seabury Ward, "We may regard plants as teachers; rocks, rivers, clouds as messengers; and animals as intermediaries."
